Some casinos have an element of skill, such as poker and blackjack, in which players can improve their chances of winning by learning the game’s rules and strategies. However, most casino games have a predetermined long-term advantage for the casino, known as the house edge. Players who are skilled enough to eliminate the house edge by a process known as optimal play are known as advantage players.
