Poker is a game where you can win real money by playing cards. It’s one of the most popular card games in the world and is played by thousands of people around the globe.

Cards (standard pack)
The standard deck of cards used in poker is a 52-card deck, with 4 suits: spades, hearts, clubs and diamonds. There are also some wild cards, such as jokers.
Straights and Flushes
A straight is a hand of 5 cards in order, such as 4-5-6-7-8. A flush is a hand of all the same suit, such as J-8-5-3-2.
High Cards
The high card breaks ties for all hands that are not pairs or three of a kind. If there are two or more hands with the same high card, they compare their cards to see which hand has the highest.
Four of a Kind
A four-of-a-kind is a hand of 4 cards of the same rank, such as kings-queens-jacks. If there are two or more hands with this high card, the hand with the higher-rank four of a kind wins.
